During this photography course you will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the composition techniques used by a professional photographer. The knowledge you acquire forms the basis for a radical improvement in your photography. The course consists of three parts: theory, practical session and analysis of your photos.

As a novice photographer, sooner or later you will reach a stage when the quality of your photography stagnates and further progress seems impossible. Thanks to this photography course you will be able to successfully make this challenging step, from average to extraordinary photography. In addition to being an experienced photographer, the course instructor is also a highly experienced teacher, who can impart knowledge exceptionally effectively – something essential in photography courses with creative subjects.
SMALL GROUP
We intentionally limit the maximum size of the group. In this way, each participant receives the necessary attention and support.
PRACTICAL SESSION
We will take pictures outside for part of the day so that you can immediately test your new knowledge.
FEEDBACK ON YOUR PHOTOS
Analysis of the photos is a very effective way to learn photography.
In the first part of the course (Theory), the professional photographer’s toolbox will open up to you. You will learn how to improve your own photography with their creative techniques. All relevant themes are discussed: looking and seeing photographically, the role of the subject, basic composition and advanced composition. The many examples of photos on display have been carefully selected for maximum educational impact.
Inspired and enriched with new insights, you can then go off to test this freshly acquired knowledge in practice. We intentionally choose for small groups to make it still possible for personal guidance. During the practice session we will make full use of the cameras. Many photos will be taken of various subjects.
In the last phase of this photography course, we return to the studio to analyse the photographs that have been taken. The purpose of this section is twofold. Firstly, you will hear and see what went well and what needs further improvement; both in your photos and in the photos of your fellow students. This is a very educational process . Secondly, you will learn how to evaluate a photo. This is an essential skill for further improving your photography.

If you do not own a camera, you can borrow one from us free of charge. Knowledge of the camera settings is welcome but not necessary in order to follow this photo course. Reserve your spot in time, as this photography course is organized a maximum of 5 times per year. Each student receives a digital course book, writing materials and lunch of their choice.
